Made from lightweight polyester, the Quartersnacks Nylon Chore Jacket combines aesthetics of traditional workwear with the feel of a traditional skatewear piece. The coat is the perfect layering piece for the summer, with a full-length button fastening it can pair perfectly with a tee or as a showerproof layer over a jumper. Contrast stitching details the seams, highlighting the four traditional pockets of a chore jacket which decorate the torso under ‘Quartersnacks’ embroidery. Styling details are finished with button-cuffs on the sleeves for a rolled up, casual look.
Quartersnacks have a nostalgic touch to most of their designs which reminds us of NYC’s skate scene before the internet, although Konstantin Satchek owes a lot of the brands prominence to the internet. Founded in 2005, the brand still offers a platform for skaters to discuss the culture and industry in NYC offering advice on spots (many of which are referenced in their clothes).
